Delray Beach, FL — Ed Morse Automotive Group announced the acquisition of Sellers-Sexton Powersports, a Honda exclusive Powersports dealership in St. Robert, Missouri. The dealership will now operate under the name Ed Morse Powersports, joining two other Ed Morse dealerships in St. Robert and three additional locations in Missouri.
The family-owned Ed Morse Automotive Group, headquartered in Delray Beach, Florida, has been in the automotive business for over 75 years. With this acquisition, the group will now operate 36 dealerships, 76 franchises, and 25 automotive and motorcycle brands.
Teddy Morse, Chairman and CEO of Ed Morse Automotive Group, said the acquisition presents a “tremendous opportunity” to expand their footprint in Missouri and serve the passionate on-road and off-road enthusiasts in St. Robert. The dealership, located at 509 VFW Memorial Drive, offers a wide range of new Honda motorcycles, ATVs, SXS, scooters, generators, power equipment, apparel, and accessories, as well as a state-of-the-art service and parts department.
Founded in 1946 by Ed Morse and his father as Morse Motors, the company has grown over the years through mergers, acquisitions, and expansions, with Ed’s grandson Teddy now at the helm. The Morse family’s impact on the automotive industry has been significant, and their legacy continues to thrive with the acquisition of Sellers-Sexton Powersports.
