Milwaukee, WI — Harley-Davidson, the American motorcycle manufacturer synonymous with the motorcycle culture, has announced the upcoming launch of two new limited-edition Custom Vehicle Operations™ (CVO™) models: the 2023 CVO™ Street Glide® and CVO™ Road Glide®.
These exclusive motorcycles are set to debut at the Harley-Davidson Homecoming™ and 120th Anniversary events, capturing the attention of enthusiasts with their revolutionary visual designs, cutting-edge technology, and exhilarating performance.
The CVO series, which began in 1999, is known for taking mass-produced Harley-Davidson models and transforming them into limited-edition custom motorcycles with unique features, such as larger displacement engines, exclusive paint designs, and additional accessories.
The first limited-edition models, the FXR2 and FXR3, were born out of the availability of assembly line time and excess parts following the end of Harley-Davidson’s military contract in the 1990s. Initially dubbed “Screamin’ Eagles” due to the performance upgrades from the company’s Screamin’ Eagle branded parts, the name was eventually dropped in 2009 in favor of CVO.
Building on the rich history of the CVO line, the all-new CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide models have been completely reimagined, breaking the mold and setting new standards for the pinnacle Harley-Davidson riding experience.
